SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on March 29 with 29 members present.
President Ed Newman opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing “God Bless America.” Chaplin Pauline Flitt read “Birthday Prayers for Seniors” and offered a blessing for the members and the food. Attendees enjoyed a catered lunch of lasagna, tossed salad, bread, and cake and ice cream for the March and April birthdays.
The 50-50 winners were Richard Carlson, Carm Tampio and Pauline. Gifts were won by Marcia Stevens, Arlene Miller, Joan Militello and Ed. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners were: Pauline, Jim Spano, Sherry Spano, Jan Polisoto and Joan M. Janice Snyder called bingo and winners were: Ginny Chesbro, Sue Borowski, Joan Suskil, Eleanor Lemiszko, Jen Zlotnick, Max Church, Pauline, Deanna Borrello, Lorrie Newman, Sherry, and Marcia.
Next week everyone will bring their own brown bag lunches (and maybe some desserts to share!). Several members stayed after the meeting for a challenging game of dominoes with a larger set!
