Brocton man charged in morning disturbance | News, Sports, Jobs – Evening Observer

PORTLAND — A Brocton man who destroyed property and struck a juvenile is facing charges after the incident on Sunday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies along with New York State Police were dispatched to Ellicott Road for a report of a disturbance at a residence. Upon arrival officers determined that Joshua J. Dash, 42, had destroyed property at the residence. It was also determined that Dash had struck a juvenile subject in the face during the incident.
Dash was taken into custody and transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment to answer to the charges.
