SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Seniors met on Tuesday, March 22, with 27 members present.
President Ed Newman opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing “God Bless America.” Chaplin Pauline Flitt read “A Prayer in Time of Peace” and offered a blessing for the members and the food. The pot luck table was filled with a wide variety of delicious dishes prepared by the group’s members.
The 50-50 winners were Joan Suski, Elaine Wojda, and Bob Fancher. Gifts were won by Pauline, Sherry Spano and Sally Shevlin. Wheel of Fortune lucky winners were: Angie Logan, Max Church, Elaine, Marge Church, Joan Militello, Enabell Mirando, Phyllis Burghardt and Pauline. Janice Snyder called bingo and winners were: Gene Chesbro, Sue Borowski, Enabell, Eleanor Lemiszko, Pauline, Jen Zlotnick, Ed, Elaine, and Marcia Stevens.
Next week the group will celebrate March and April birthdays with lasagna, side dishes, cake and ice cream.
Several members stayed after the meeting for a brain boggling game of Dominoes.
