There are many organizations within our community that help people in many different ways. The Watertown Area Community Foundation comes together to award grants to multiple organizations every year.

The Watertown Area Community Foundation Youth Council has awarded its 2022 grants to area youth-serving organizations.
The 2022 grants awarded are:
The Foundation started the Youth Council in 2001 with the belief that young people care about others and their community and they would like to have a voice in the issues, challenges and opportunities they face both now and in the future. Youth Council members learn about non-profit organizations in our community, learn leadership skills, become involved in philanthropy and award grants each spring.
Current Youth Council members are:Emma Koch and Macy Vogt, seniors; Emma Brist, Grace Martenson and Samantha Keup, juniors.
Sophomores entering their junior year this fall are eligible to apply for three positions on the Youth Council for the 2022-2023 school year. Applications can be found in the WHS Student Services Office or by contacting the WACF at: foundation@iw.net.
