GOWANDA — Bethany L. “Billie” Huff, 32, of Gowanda passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City.
She was born on Nov. 6, 1989, in Buffalo, the daughter of Leigh Snow (nee Huff) of Perrysburg, who survives.
Billie was a member of the Seneca Nation, member of the Wolf Clan, and was proud of her community.
She worked as a home and health care aide for many years and enjoyed taking care of the elderly, and helping anyone in the community. Billie also enjoyed following her children’s sports and activities, especially watching their lacrosse games. Billie will be remembered for her straight-shooting and strong personality and will be missed by many.
Besides her mother, Billie is survived by a son, Croix Snow of Gowanda, and a daughter, Corrah Thomas of Gowanda. Also surviving are three brothers: Nicky Snow, Heron Snow and Leland Snow, all of Gowanda, and four sisters; Geraldine “Gerry” Snow of Gowanda, Karen Snow of Tampa, Fla., Mirhna Snow of Gowanda, and Kia Cooper of Gowanda. Also surviving is a niece, Valentina Snow; her grandmother, Elizabeth Huff; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends may call on Friday, April 1 from 4-7 p.m. from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St. in Gowanda. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. from the Irving Wesleyan Church, Route 438, Gowanda, N.Y.
Burial will be in the Seneca Nation Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Seneca EMS and Fire Department.
