Chelsea have one piece of good news after humiliating defeat – Yardbarker

Is there much consolation you can take after 4-1 loss at home, having had the lead? Probably not, but we will try out best.
Chelsea have been smashed by Brentford at home this afternoon, in the kind of game that can make or break a team depending on how they respond.
Along the way there looked to be a few knocks picked up, but the only sliver of good news that Blues fans can look back on from the game was that none of them ended up being serious.
Tuchel says no new injuries today (including Chalobah who was left out of the squad) and the subs were all tactical.

Edouard Mendy went down a couple of times flexing his knee, and was attended to by the physio a few times, and Kai Havertz looked like he’d had a bang on the head at the end too, but Thomas Tuchel insisted that all his changes were tactical, and reported no new injuries.
Reece James got a run out too, and we expect him to start against Real Madrid in midweek.
