{"id":1232,"date":"2022-03-22T17:54:18","date_gmt":"2022-03-22T17:54:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/linksus.net\/dc-cops-probing-claim-that-peoples-convoy-struck-a-pedestrian-the-daily-beast\/"},"modified":"2022-03-22T17:54:18","modified_gmt":"2022-03-22T17:54:18","slug":"dc-cops-probing-claim-that-peoples-convoy-struck-a-pedestrian-the-daily-beast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/linksus2.linksus.net\/index.php\/2022\/03\/22\/dc-cops-probing-claim-that-peoples-convoy-struck-a-pedestrian-the-daily-beast\/","title":{"rendered":"DC Cops Probing Claim That People&#039;s Convoy Struck a Pedestrian &#8211; The Daily Beast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SEARCH<br \/>The right-wing convoy\u2019s farcical effort to disrupt the Beltway area continued this weekend with an incident in which one driver allegedly hit a woman with his vehicle.<br \/>Media Reporter<br \/>Metropolitan police are investigating an incident in which a driver participating in the so-called \u201c<a class=\"TrackingLink LinkWrapper\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/peoples-convoy-bid-for-a-permit-to-camp-on-the-national-mall-fails-miserably\">People Convoy<\/a>\u201d allegedly struck a pedestrian in D.C. as the right-wing convoy drove through the city on Sunday afternoon.<br \/>According to an incident report obtained and reviewed by The Daily Beast on Monday, Dupont Circle resident Kerry Lynn Bedard told D.C. police she was on the west side of the 1600 block of Connecticut Ave NW \u201cwhen [the convoy member] struck her with his vehicle and drove on top of her right ankle.\u201d<br \/>For his part, the convoy member, Donald Bryan Thomas II of Butler, Ohio, who was driving a silver BMW 550i plastered with stickers like \u201cTRUCKERS RULE!!!
