Current seniors can leave their legacy and support the part of the University that means the most to them while helping the next generation of Orange students by making a <a href=\"https:\/\/cusecommunity.syr.edu\/s\/1632\/20\/interior.aspx?sid=1632&amp;gid=2&amp;pgid=6235\">Class Act gift<\/a> in the amount of $20.22 (to honor the graduating Class of 2022).<br \/>Kelsey Davis &#8217;19, G&#8217;20<br \/>Kavell Brown &#8217;16<br \/>This evening, students are invited to Forever Orange in Action, an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cusecommunity.syr.edu\/s\/1632\/17\/interior.aspx?sid=1632&amp;gid=2&amp;pgid=7624&amp;content_id=10343\">interactive professional development discussion and networking reception<\/a> led by\u00a0Kelsey Davis \u201919, G\u201920\u00a0and\u00a0Kavell Brown \u201916, starting at 6 p.m. inside the Grand Hall of the National Veterans Resource Center at the Daniel and Gayle D\u2019Aniello Building. Davis and Brown will discuss what it means to be Forever Orange, and why it\u2019s important for students to get involved and give back to their communities.<br \/>\u201cForever Orange Week is all about celebrating Syracuse University, and our students should be excited for this great opportunity. While our alumni will be celebrating what it means to be Orange wherever they are around the world, we\u2019re proud to have our campus serve as the center of our celebrations,\u201d says Grace Terry, assistant director of young alumni and student engagement in the Office of Alumni Engagement.<br \/>Hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/cusecommunity.syr.edu\/s\/1632\/17\/interior.aspx?sid=1632&amp;gid=2&amp;pgid=2278\">Forever Orange Student Alumni Council (FOSAC)<\/a>, this year\u2019s programs highlight the strong bond between the University, its students, and its alumni while showcasing how students can become leaders on campus, make the most of a strong alumni network and give back to their community.<br \/>Celebrate National Orange Day with Otto!<br \/>For the first time in two years, the University campus community can celebrate and commemorate the 152nd anniversary of Syracuse University\u2019s founding in 1870 during our in-person National Orange Day programming. Join us at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday in the lower level of the atrium inside the Schine Student Center to enjoy Orange-themed birthday treats and sing \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d to the University.<br \/>\u201cForever Orange Week is unique to Syracuse University and it\u2019s easy to see and feel that pride here on campus. Orange is truly forever. We\u2019re really excited to celebrate Syracuse University\u2019s birthday together. Specifically, and consistent with other large venue operators&#8230;<br \/>Light Work presents &#8220;The Lottery,&#8221; a solo exhibition of new works by Pittsburgh-based photographer Melissa Catanese. In the exhibition, Catanese turns her attention to the tense and confusing state of contemporary politics and culture. Almandrez to the position of vice president for diversity and inclusion.
