{"id":1434,"date":"2022-03-23T18:17:13","date_gmt":"2022-03-23T18:17:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/linksus.net\/apple-music-and-the-app-store-are-suffering-another-outage-the-verge\/"},"modified":"2022-03-23T18:17:13","modified_gmt":"2022-03-23T18:17:13","slug":"apple-music-and-the-app-store-are-suffering-another-outage-the-verge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/linksus2.linksus.net\/index.php\/2022\/03\/23\/apple-music-and-the-app-store-are-suffering-another-outage-the-verge\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple Music and the App Store are suffering another outage &#8211; The Verge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Filed under:<br \/>Apple Music and the App Store were misbehaving<br \/>A few of Apple\u2019s services experienced another outage on Tuesday, just one day after a good chunk of Apple\u2019s services and online infrastructure <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2022\/3\/21\/22989393\/apple-is-down-outage-music-imessage-maps-icloud-app-store\">were knocked offline on Monday<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/support\/systemstatus\/\">Apple\u2019s system status page<\/a> says that the issues with Apple Music, Podcasts, Books, and the App Store have been resolved, almost two hours after they began affecting some users.<br \/>Thankfully, iMessage, iCloud, Apple Maps, and Apple TV didn\u2019t go down like they did on Monday. During the outage, Apple also warned that there were issues with Weather, Game Center, Apple Card, and the iCloud Web Apps, saying that they may be \u201cslow or unavailable.\u201d Those issues are also now marked as resolved. <br \/>During the outage, Apple Music worked for some <em>Verge<\/em> staff but not for others, and quite a few of us encountered issues trying to download apps or updates from the App Store. Usually, the progress circle would just spin continuously and then return to a download or update button after failing. Now, some Verge staff report that Apple Music is back up and running for them, and I was able to download around 30 app updates without any issues.<br \/>Downdetector <a href=\"https:\/\/downdetector.com\/status\/app-store\/\">backed up our experiences<\/a>, showing almost a thousand other people reporting issues with the Apple Store and Apple Music.
