Eight more people have died with COVID-19 in NSW and 43 people are being treated for the virus in ICUs.\u00a0
A total of 1,180 people are in hospital, up slightly from yesterday.
The state has recorded 24,803 new cases.
The ACT has recorded 1,278 \u00a0new COVID-19 cases.
There are 42 people in hospital with the virus in Canberra, including three in ICU.
So far 79.8 per cent of Canberra children aged five to 11 have received a vaccine dose and 72 per cent of Canberrans aged 16 and older have received their booster.
Victoria has reported 10,259 new COVID-19 cases and 11 further deaths.
There are 244 people in hospital with the virus, including 25 in ICUs, with two on ventilators.
Of Victorians aged 12 and over,\u00a094.3 per cent have received two doses of the vaccine, and 64.4 per cent of adults have received three doses.
There are now 53,763 active cases in the state.
A woman aged in her 90s who was living in an aged care facility has become\u00a0the 29th Tasmanian to die from COVID-19.
The state has recorded 2,009 new cases, with the total number of active cases reaching 10,247.
There are 28 patients in hospital, with nine\u00a0being treated specifically for COVID-19 symptoms.
A total of 11,018 new COVID cases have been recorded in Queensland, another increase in new infections.
There are 271 people being treated for the virus in hospital, 11\u00a0of those are in ICUs, and six people with the virus have died.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says there are no plans to mandate COVID-19 vaccine\u00a0boosters\u00a0but authorities are keeping a close eye on the spread among school-aged children.
WA has recorded an additional seven COVID-19 deaths, however six of those deaths date back to March 11.
The most recent death was a women in her 80s.
Another 8,616 new cases have been confirmed, taking the total number of active cases to 42,988.
There are 209 people in hospital and nine in ICUs.
A man in his 70s with COVID-19 has died in the NT.
The Territory's death toll is now 33.
There are 18 patients in hospital, one in ICU and two on ventilators.
The NT has recorded 378 new cases.
South Australia has\u00a0recorded 4,742 new COVID-19 cases, the second-highest daily caseload on record.
Another two people with COVID-19 have died: two men, aged in their 60s and 70s.
There are 157 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 10 in ICUs.
There are now 27,624 active cases in the state.
