NSW recorded seven COVID-19\u00a0deaths in the 24 hours to 4pm yesterday.
There were 23,702 positive cases, including 13,514 RATs and 10,188 PCR tests.
There are 1,182 people with the virus in hospital\u00a0and 43 in Intensive care.\u00a0
Only 59 per cent of people in the state have\u00a0received three doses of a COVID vaccine.
A woman in her 90s has died with COVID-19 in Canberra.
ACT Health announced the woman\u2019s death this morning but did not specify whether she had underlying health conditions or provide her vaccination status.
There are currently 42 people in hospital with the virus in Canberra, including three in intensive care.
The ACT has recorded 1,122 new cases today \u2014 79.8 per cent of Canberra children aged five to 11 have now received a vaccine dose and 72.2 per cent of Canberrans aged 16 and older have received their booster.
Victoria has recorded nine new COVID deaths and 9,244 new cases.
There are 253 people in hospital, including 19 in intensive care.
Four people are on ventilators.
There are now 54,666 active COVID cases in the state, and 64.6 per cent of adults have received three doses of a vaccine.
Tasmania has recorded 1,786 new COVID cases, down from 2,009 yesterday.
There is no-one in ICU and 24 people are in hospital with the virus \u2014 but only eight\u00a0are being treated specifically for their COVID symptoms.
There have been no new deaths.
Three more people with COVID-19 have died in Queensland.
The state has recorded 9,730 new cases, with more than 55,000 known active cases in total.
There are 265 people in hospital with the virus, with 14 of them being treated in intensive care.
There are currently 20 patients being treated for COVID in NT hospitals, with one person in intensive care.
There were 335 new cases of coronavirus recorded in the NT in the latest reporting period, taking the number of known active cases to 1,889.
Of the newest recorded cases, 292 were cases detected from rapid antigen tests.
There were 270 cases recorded in the Top End region, 31 in Central Australia, four in East Arnhem, eight in the Big Rivers region, three in the Barkly and 19 are under investigation.
Another four people with COVID-19 have died in South Australia.
They were men aged in their 30s, 40s and 80s, and a woman in her 90s.
The state has recorded 4,549 new cases and there are now\u00a028,198 active cases.
There are 157 people with COVID in hospital, six in intensive care.
Western Australia has recorded a further 8,133 new cases of COVID-19, and has a total of 45,306 active cases.
The state has also recorded two more deaths:\u00a0two men aged in their 70s and 80s, although their deaths date back to March 22.
There are 209 people with COVID-19 in hospital, with 10 in intensive care.
