BELOIT — The Alliance tennis team opened the season by downing West Branch, 4-1, Tuesday.
The Warriors (1-1) will host Field on Thursday.

SECOND SINGLES: Landon Blevins (A) def. Caleb Zion, 7-6 (7-5), 7-5.
THIRD SINGLES: Donovan Romeo (A) def. Aaron Brown, 6-0, 6-0.
FIRST DOUBLES: Zakory Karlen-Evan Hancock (WB) def. Kiernan Canavan-Luke Poindexter, 6-2, 6-3.
SECOND DOUBLES: Latray Porter-Mackenzie Heslop (A) def. Logan McConnell-David Sigman, 6-0, 6-1.
EXHIBITION: Logan Crutchley-Marissa Mountz (WB) def. Jayson Reed-Walker Buchanan, 6-2, 6-4.

SALEM –Salem’s tennis team defeated Marlington 5-0 on Tuesday.
Singles winners for the Quakers were Tyler Parker, Zach Parker and Sophie Faulenbach. Nick French and Christian Chappell as well as Camden Sampson and Drake Harkleroad won doubles matches for Salem.
