Here&#039;s the timeline. &#8211; USA TODAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Another multi-day severe weather outbreak is on tap for the central, southern and eastern U.S. this week.<br \/>Storms are expected to fire up Tuesday across the central U.S., but the day with the highest risk for severe weather will be Wednesday in the Deep South, forecasters said.<br \/>&#8220;Residents in portions of the South still reeling from last week&#8217;s bout of destructive weather may find themselves in the path of Mother Nature&#8217;s wrath once again this week,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/en\/severe-weather\/severe-weather-outbreak-looms-for-hard-hit-south\/1164271\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|inline click|${u}\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">AccuWeather<\/a> meteorologist Mary Gilbert said.<br \/>More than 23 million people are at risk for some type of severe weather Tuesday, and\u00a0the number grows to more than 55 million Wednesday, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spc.noaa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|inline click|${u}\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Storm Prediction Center<\/a> said. On Thursday, 20 million people could see severe weather.\u00a0<br \/><strong class=gnt_ar_b_al>WHAT IS A FLASH FLOOD WATCH OR WARNING?<\/strong><a href=\"\/story\/news\/nation\/2022\/03\/22\/flash-floods-watch-warning-weather-hazard\/7038938001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|inline click|${u}\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Here&#8217;s what to know about this deadly weather hazard<\/a><br \/>On Tuesday evening, the greatest risk area for severe thunderstorms includes states from Iowa to Texas.
