Common sense isn’t so common anymore
To the academic who equates the male swimmer who identifies as a woman, Iszac Henig, to Jackie Robertson in her “breakthrough”<\/span> struggle to be allowed to swim competitively as a woman, your logic is so unsound.
As a man, he was rated
No. 462, but as a woman, No. 1.
The correct analogy would be allowing a person born without legs to swim against other whole body athletes using a motorized apparatus because they identify with a whole body person.
I’m sorry they were born with the birth defect of not having legs. Should they be exposed to prejudice?
Absolutely not, but common sense must prevail.
We can’t change the whole of society to make up for their loss. Buildings have to have stairs.
We can’t as a society say stairs are no longer allowed so that those without legs don’t have to feel badly.
Let transgender compete against other transgender.
In the competitive sports theater, it’s not a question of sexual preference.
It’s a question of muscle density due to years of testosterone production.
That is why steroid taking is not allowed in sports. It gives athletes an unfair advantage.
If this is allowed, then let women athletes start injecting steroids so they can compete against the transgender.
Stupid, isn’t it?

Gregory has shown pro-active leadership
I would highly encourage all constituents of the 80th District to vote in the spring primary for Jim Gregory as our voice in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
Gregory is proactive in all the things he does, and I would like to share one example of his efforts for his constituents in southern Blair County.
In the middle of the COVID-19 shutdown of 2020, Gregory was aware that the annual agricultural parade in Martinsburg is a huge tradition for our area.
He proactively reached out to me to discuss the options of how we can safely and effectively run a parade while still keeping within the guidelines that were issued by the state and the governor.
He was proactive on an issue that was important to us, and he will continue to be proactive on issues that affect the greater good of his constituents.
